Summary

This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Operations Division, Office of Human Capital. The incumbent provides advice and guidance to management on a variety of complex HR problems as they relate to CFPB Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); carries out the full range of HRIS project support functions including coordinating, testing, implementing, reporting; and provides authoritative advice on automation and human resources (HR) systems initiatives.

Responsibilities

As a Management and Program Analyst (Information Systems), you will:

  • Serves as an expert on regulations, requirements, and activities in HR systems administration and HR service delivery. Supports management's initiatives in developing HRIS and analyzes and evaluates related program initiatives.
  • Conducts projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations within OHC. Develops new or modified automated work processes. Reviews guidelines and initiatives for potential program implications and advises on future enhancements. Designs programs and measures for control, review, and evaluation of assigned programs.
  • Advises and provides assistance to system users. Analyzes problems related to HR automated systems and recommends viable solutions. Coordinates with Human Capital staff and managers to ensure work processes are documented and staff is sufficiently knowledgeable of system operation.
  • Works with agency management and staff in employee change process concepts and techniques by assessing organizational readiness for change, marketing organizational awareness, and leading change initiatives. Leads development of communications strategies to inform users of new or changed services and procedures.
